Replacement Gaskets for Kuhn Rikon Pressure Cookers You can order gaskets by model number for current models. (For older models: The gasket sizes refer to the diameter across the inside edge of the gasket itself, not the diameter of the cooker. To convert from inches to centimeters, multiply inches x 2.54.) Gaskets should be replaced periodically, as they will harden over time and stop working (which will cause seal loss, and your cooker won't work because the necessary pressure won't develop.)
